1, 2007 Statement to Prospective Baili Furniture
Customers Because
of the extreme housing market downturn correction, Catawissa-Baili’s parent
company, Catawissa Lumber & Specialty Co., Inc. recently decided to curtail its
furniture sales division’s active marketing activities. Catawissa-Baili will not be showing at the October 2007 High Point
Market and has discontinued all
magazine advertisements in its cost reduction endeavors. Orders
for this totally hand-crafted furniture can only be accepted on a container load basis.
Depending on order placement, delivery times can be up to 6 months or longer. Shorter
delivery times could result with a combination of multiple customer orders received at one
time that would fill a 20 foot or 40 foot container. Special
arrangements can be made for shorter delivery periods if a customer is willing
to cover the costs for protective wood crating and shipping arrangements for less than container load orders. |
